چکیده
Benzoguanamine (2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine) is used to increase thermoset properties of alkyd, acrylic and formaldehyde resins. It is used as a raw material for guanamine resins. Maleic acid is used as an oil and fat preservative and food acidulant. Crystal structures of melaminium (2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazin-1-ium) maleate monohydrate 201 and Bis(melaminium) DL-malate tetrahydrate 202 have been reported in literature. From our laboratory, crystal structures of pyrimethamine hydrogen maleate 44 and TMP maleate 93 have been reported. The present study is aimed at identifying the novel hydrogen bonded supramolecular patterns in two salts namely acetogunaminium hydrogen maleate [ACGHMAL] (1) and benzoguanaminium hydrogen maleate, [BENZGHMAL] (2).
